fastbrowse
Fast open-source browser agent that picks each action from the controls actually on the page
fastbrowse is a fast, open-source browser agent (MIT license) that gives your agent a browser. Instead of generating each action from a screenshot, it indexes the page into the controls it actually has — every button, link and field — and lets Jev, a choice model, pick the next step, so it cannot click something that was never on the page. Every claim in a finished answer cites a verbatim quote from the page, with a link that scrolls to it. Code, not the model, holds the keys: submit, pay, delete and send actions stop until you allow them, secrets are typed only on the origin they were declared for, and step, time and dollar limits are enforced in code. It ships as a CLI, a Python library, SDKs, an MCP server and a skill for coding agents, and runs on a cloud browser by default or a local Chrome. The software itself is free; you bring your own model keys, so model usage is your only running cost.
