Gemini Spark is Google’s always-on personal AI agent, announced at Google I/O on May 19, 2026. It runs on Google Cloud on Gemini 3.5/3.6 Flash with the Antigravity harness, so it keeps working even when your devices are off: it handles multi-step tasks across Gmail, Calendar, Docs and Drive, and reaches third-party apps such as Canva, OpenTable and Instacart via MCP, asking for confirmation before major actions like sending email or making purchases. Spark lives as a tab in the Gemini app on the web, mobile and macOS, and launched for Google AI Ultra subscribers, with access expanding to Google AI Pro users.
