Off Grid AI is a free, open-source app that runs AI models entirely on your own phone or Mac: chat with GGUF models such as Qwen 3, Llama 3.2, Gemma 3 and Phi-4, generate images with on-device Stable Diffusion, ask questions about photos with vision models, and transcribe speech with on-device Whisper, with no account, no API key and no data leaving your device. The free app covers chat, image generation, vision, voice transcription, tool calling and document analysis. Pro, at $119 lifetime or $7.99 per month, adds a voice that talks back, custom personas, approval-gated actions through calendar, email and MCP servers, and device-to-device sync. The app was featured on Product Hunt in October 2026.
